Words cast Spells, thats why its called Spelling.

Every day, we cast spells without candles or rituals, simply through our everyday phrases, such as “no problem” or “that’s okay.” Language holds power; it flows like a stream. By selecting our words intentionally, we determine the atmosphere in which we exist. This concept isn’t just poetic; it aligns with energetic principles.

Each word we utter creates a vibration that ripples out. Whether softly spoken in prayer, hastily typed, or casually said, words can mold our reality. They possess the capacity to comfort, provoke, beckon, or divide. They have the power to unveil new possibilities or to shut down connections. Words are a form of energy; it’s essential to wield them thoughtfully.

One of my favorite examples of the power of a word is Abracadabra. Its origins are not yet completely known; the common belief is that it originates from an old Hebrew word, meaning ‘to create as I speak.’ The word was used in medical practices to heal; however, after centuries of use, it shifted in the early 1800s to a magician’s incantation, following its reputation being discredited due to its association with useless folklore.

Here’s a curated list of those mindless yet straightforward sayings that most of us use, which unknowingly lower the vibrational frequency of our conversations —and, hence, our lives. They are followed by simple choices that will uplift rather than bring down.

Common Low-Vibration Sayings & Their Implications: Followed by Uplifting Alternatives That Elevate Frequency

No problem: Implies there could have been a problem. Replace with: Of course, or Happy to help.

No worries: Suggests there was something to worry about. Replace with: All is well or It’s taken care of.

Honestly or To be honest with you:  Suggests honesty is conditional or rare, and implies prior dishonesty or lack of transparency. Speak the truth without the qualifier.

I suppose: It diminishes confidence or clarity. Replace with: I feel… / I sense… / My intuition says…

Whatever works: Can feel dismissive or disengaged. Replace with: Let’s find what feels best.

I don’t care: This may come across as apathetic or emotionally closed. Replace with: I’m open to possibilities.

I could be wrong, but It undermines your own voice before it’s even heard. Replace with: Here’s my perspective…

Sorry to bother you: This implies you’re a burden, even when you’re not. Replace with: May I share something with you?

I’m not sure this makes sense; it preempts your own insight. Replace with: Please let me know how this works for you.

It is what it is: Can signal defeat or emotional detachment. Replace with: Let’s explore what’s possible.

Energy resides in us, carried through language. Even those innocuous, harmless-seeming phrases can affect us, engaging us without our conscious knowledge, and lower vibrational thoughts, those thoughts that imply doubt or lack. Save these phrases to refer to often, and once the habit of using them takes hold, you’ll notice a change in your life.

But if thought corrupts language, language can also corrupt thought.
